RESUME

Megan Guthrie-Wedemeyer grew up loving fashion and history. To her, costume design’s ability to build personal character stories was a perfect combination of both worlds. She got a BFA at the University of Southern California in Theatrical Design. She is currently in IATSE 705 and 892 working as both a costumer, assistant costume designer, and costume desginer. She is based in LA but works all over the world in film and TV.

About the Logo: My hair represents a lot of things. To me, it showcases my heritage and my passion.  It is a part of who I am as a person and a designer and drives my desire to create unique ways of storytelling through costumes and sets, whether it is rooted in reality or in the fantastical.  Please enjoy my work!

In nothing are character and perception so insensibly but inevitable displayed as in dress, and taste in dress. Dress is the second self, a dumb self, yet a most eloquent exposure of the person. Dress bares the same relation to the body as speech does the brain; and therefore, dress may be called the speech of the body.
